Hey yall! Got on Lunch Break and actually had some time to think about things about the College Football season. Racked my Brain and here's my thoughts...

The Disappointments..

#1. Penn State.. Holy cow how this team underwent the UBER downward spiral! This team will likely get a Bowl game. But man from Pre-Season Championship contenders to non existence in the Top 25... Just wow...

#2. Florida State... After Beating Alabama. I thought that this team was on a Mission... then reality hit. The Seminoles just was a Flash in the pan.

#3. Clemson... Now this one is on the fence. But with the hype of the team and Kubnik... the team really spun its wheels in the first part of the season. However they have gained a little bit of traction.. But they aren't a Title Contender.

#4. Texas... the Longhorns are sleepwalking and Manning isn't delivering as advertised. They have their "Moments" but consistency is just not there...

My Surprises! In a good way of Course!

1. Indiana... I mean.. they needed to prove they belonged by beating Oregon. They did! And they have a VERY FAVORABLE Schedule remaining to make it to the B1G title Game.

2. Texas A&M the Aggies silently have put together a Stout team who have had some close calls. But have delivered in the end. I think the SEC comes down to A&M and Alabama.

3. Georgia Tech. This team has a chip on its shoulder! And right now they have delivered! I look for their later match up with the Dawgs to be a nice little Matchup!

4. Vanderbilt. Let's just say it. This team has exceeded expectations at the Helm with Pavia. The team has played some great Ball. And they got some quality wins under their belt. I could see them in the CFP.

OTHER NOTES.

Ohio State... This team is an all out juggarnaut... just "Sayin"

Northwestern... this team has be another surprise in the B1G... I looked for them to be a 3 to 4 win team tops... they're exceeding expectations and are winning games and competing strong.

Wisconsin.. I feel like Fickell is no longer the fit for the Badgers. However I could see Fickell as an assistant coach somewhere else down the road.

Miami .. the Canes have been pretty good. But the Loss to Louisville hurt the opportunity to control their own destiny.

Notre Dame... Rough Start... but are getting it together. Their Losses are to two very decent teams!

Thoughts? Good to be back!

Good to see a post from you Valenth .

Through 10/31, there are 40 D1 FBS teams with 2 or fewer losses that still have a technical shot at the 12 team playoff. Parity brought to you by pay for play and the transfer portal.

Indiana might be #1 and Vandy is the feel good story As to Ohio State, the defense and passing game are generational in talent, but the running game and special team play might cost them come November 29th or later.

Sure beats the Roll Tide narrative under Nick Saban.
