Purdue (5-0) had to work hard to get the win in this one. Memphis (1-3) had the lead in the 2nd half a few times, but the number one team in the country pulled away toward the end of this one, posting the nine point win. Fletcher Loyer 20 points and 4 boards led the winners. C.J. Cox 18 points and 4 board was 2nd in scoring for the winners. For the Tigers, Dug McDaniel led the way with 18 points, 6 assists, and 6 boards.
