he's had very poor health for a long time. I have a dear buddy who's a professional angler in Minnesota. and the people there are quite worried about him.

Minnesota Coach Jerry Kill Retires Due To Healh

Coach Kill has retired because of his well documented health problems. Mr. Kill is generally considered to be a class act and was successful in bringing the Gophers back to football respectability. The number of coaching positions that have become vacant just prior to and during this season is the greatest that I can remember in 58 years of following college football. Mr. Kill deserves our prayers for his restoration to health.

Apologies to Tiger Bait. I did not see his prior post on this topic. In my case, the assisted living facility is looking better and better.

I feel for the guy having health issues, but he has UM this weekend and OSU on the horizon.....during a crappy season. I am sure that has something to do with it too!

I will never understand how taking a 8-5 mediocre team in 2013 and turning it in to a superstar 8-5 team in 2014, not even getting to the conference championship game and in the same conference as the National Champions, gets you a coach of the year award. Oh well. Good luck finding another head coach that can also double as the mascot.

Hope he gets healthier and maybe this will have the Golden Gophers playing with their hair on fire and they beat ttun!
