The young Buckeyes played all 11 players they dressed, in this one.
The bad was double digit in turnovers for the Buckeyes and they only hit 50% of their free throws.
The good another easy win and they shot 60% from the field.

This game was against a bad Grambling State team. But a win is a win. Gives OSU more time to get their young players playing together.

Ohio State should still win 17 to 20 games . Lots of work to be done . 50% from the line . Jr high teams shoot better . Some other Div 1 games just plan were bad . No team play . Looked like AAU summer audition. Just saying. Might be the 30 second clock.

There was a time when 20 wins was almost a guarantee to get into the NCAA tournament, but no longer. Would Matta's team be better served by playing a tougher schedule as prep for conference play. Last night Sparty played Kansas, Maryland battled Georgetown, and the Bucks faced off against Grambling. Then again, what do I know,

Omega, they do play a pretty intimidating non-conference this year! You have to get those filler games in for a couple extra wins though, every single team in all the top conferences do it. Example: Mt. St. Marys, Grambling State, Texas-Arlington, etc. After the softies, look at who OSU plays in non-conference:

Memphis (although unranked, receiving votes I think, gave #8 Oklahoma all they could handle the other night)
#6 Virginia (they will be dropping after losing to GW though)
VMI (might not sound intimidating, but they are always a solid team)
#20 Connecticut
#2 Kentucky

Pretty good if you ask me.
