On Espn, they are saying he is transfering from UM. Did not say where yet....

If Pryor goes to UM could Mallet become a Buckeye

Personally I'd rather get Pryor, but i think Mallet would be better than Boeckman.

Mallett is going south to follow former QB coach Scott Loffler.

Isn't there another back up QB for Michigan considering to transfer elsewhere?

where did you here that from?

His options are Tenn and UCLA and Texas AM and possibly Arkansas but OSU was never a choice for him

But he is def leaving but OSU is not where he is going

I had not heard where he was heading or seen anything, just making a statement/comment about what if he became a Buckeye if Pryor does go to UM.

The reason Mallett came to Michigan was for two reasons.

1) UM puts QB's in the league
2) Scott Loffler is considered one of the top QB coache's in America. He has tutored Bryan Griese, Tom Brady, Drew Henson, John Navarre, and Chad Heene.

I don't see Mallett going to OSU for the fact that one he has no relationship with the coaching staff, and two they don't put QB's in the NFL.

Once upon a time it seemed like five-star prospect Ryan Mallett would be the quarterback for his beloved University of Arkansas.

But Mitch Mustain's signing with the Razorbacks and hence Mallett's decision to go to Michigan circumvented that dream.

But is the timing now right for the two to hook up?

With Mustain now at USC and Mallett (6-7, 250) transferring from Michigan, the former Texas High star and Arkansas native is already in Northwest Arkansas and will take an official visit to the UA beginning Friday.

The 19-year-old Mallett is apparently considering Arkansas, Texas A&M, UCLA and Tennessee, the latter three schools being places that former Michigan quarterbacks coach Scott Loeffler has interviewed recently.

This is from scout today.

As an ND fan you should have known that you have another top recruit coming at QB. I can't think of his first name but his last name is Crist. Also there is no way that Mallet would go to ND and if he did then I'd put him over Clausen at this point. Clausen might get better but right now Mallet is the better of the two IMO.
