For the first time in program history, Georgetown has won the national title In D1 men's soccer. They won their title on penalty kicks. Here was their path to the title:

vs. Pittsburgh - W 5-0
vs. Louisville - W 5-1
vs. Washington - W 2-1
vs. Stanford - W 2-0
vs. Virginia - W 3-3 (PKs)

Cal State San Bernardino wrapped up a perfect season in D2 women's volleyball by capturing their first national title in program history. Here was their path to the title.:

vs. Central Washington - W 3-0
vs. Alaska Anchorage - W 3-1
vs. Azusa Pacific - W 3-2
vs. Molloy - W 3-0
vs. Regis - W 3-1
vs. Nebraska Kearney - W 3-1

North Central (Illinois) has won the national title in D3 football, surprising many people. A school that is known as a powerhouse program in track and field, this is their first national title in football. Their path to the championship included:

vs. Wabash - W 51-15
vs. Mount Union - W 59-52
vs. Delaware Valley - W 31-14
vs. Muhlenberg - W 45-14
vs. Wisconsin Whitewater - W 41-14

In a shootout, West Florida has won the national championship in D2 football. This is their first title in program history. Their path to the title included:

vs. Wingate - W 38-17
vs. Valdosta State - W 38-35
vs. Lenoir-Rhyne - W 43-38
vs. Ferris State - W 28-14
vs. Minnesota State - W 48-40

Stanford's athletic department has claimed their third team national championship of the fall sports season, as they capped off their women's volleyball season with a national title, their second consecutive title, and their 9th in program history. Their path to the title included:

vs. Denver - W 3-0
vs. Cal Poly - W 3-0
vs. Utah - W 3-2
vs. Penn State - W 3-0
vs. Minnesota - W 3-0
vs. Wisconsin - W 3-0

The dynasty continues, as North Dakota State has claimed their 8th national championship in FCS football in the last 9 years. Matt Entz has become the third head coach at NDSU to win the national title. Their path to the title included:

vs. Nicholls State - W 37-13
vs. Illinois State - W 9-3
vs. Montana State - W 42-14
vs. James Madison - W 28-20

LSU has won their 4th national title in program history, led by none other than SE Ohio's own, Joe Burrow. They earned a blowout win over Oklahoma to make it to the title game, then cruised by Clemson to claim the title. This is their 4th national title, and their first since 2007.
