Thank you, I thought that I had read that before about him and the Convoy job, I had no idea that he coached at Teays Valley though. I do remember him playing for the Buckeyes though, he was a very good player for the Buckeyes.

Andre who has already graduated probably has a very slim chance to ever play in the NBA, but maybe might have a chance to play overseas. Kaleb on the other hand could still change his mind being that he is a Junior, and still return to the Buckeyes for his Senior year. Most of the experts project him to possibly be a borderline 2nd Rd draft pick. Because of the Virus, no definite date has yet been set as to when he would have to decide if he wanted to return for his Senior year. I think that his mind is already made up, and that he will stay in the draft regardless. Even if he doesn't get drafted, he most certainly will probably have a chance to go abroad and play.
Former Ohio State Center Kaleb Wesson has been invited to the 2020 NBA draft combine. Wesson is unofficially ranked #56 overall by some of the so called experts. The 2020 NBA draft was originally scheduled for June 25th, will now take place on Oct 16th, 3 days after potential game 7 would be played in this season's rescheduled NBA finals. The uncertain situation with the coronavirus at this point, it's not even a given that either the combine or the draft will happen as scheduled.

Head Coach Chris Holtmann and the Buckeyes have extended an out-of-state offer to big man Joe Hurlburt, a 6'10", 4-star forward/center to potentially join shooting guard Bowen Hardman (Cincinnati/Princeton) in the class of 2022. Hurlburt, from Enderlin, N.D. and is rated the top player in his home state. In addition to Ohio State, he has received offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa State and Colorado.

The NCAA wants to be prepared if the college basketball season can't start as planned in November. The organization has already considered possible alternatives if that is the case. NCAA senior vice president of basketball has said that there is a contingency plans in place if the season can't begin on November 10th. The NCAA plans to meet to discuss those alternatives, and will provide an update in Mid-September if the season will be delayed.

Ohio State's Justice Sueing has been cleared for Non-Contact workouts following a foot injury. Sueing , a 6'6", 210 lb forward averaged 14.1 pts, 5.7 rebounds in 33 minutes per game across two years playing for "a not so good" University of California team. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining after transferring from California and sitting out last season.

The Ohio States Men's basketball team will get it's season started in South Dakota against Memphis. The Buckeyes will play their first round opponent Memphis at 4:30, on November 25th. Kicking off the Buckeyes run in the three-day, three-game event, win or lose, all teams are guaranteed three games in the tournament. Depending on the outcome of the opening round matchup with Memphis, Ohio State will either play the winner or the loser of Game-1, between West Virginia and Texas A@M.

Guard Meechie Johnson will end up playing basketball for Ohio State sooner than expected. The 6'2", 185lb combo-guard from Garfield Heights has reclassified from the 2021 class to the 2020 class, he announced on Sunday. He'll enroll at the University later this year. Johnson said he'll graduate early from High School and enroll at Ohio State in December. He had returned to Garfield Heights for his senior year, but he decided the opportunity to begin his collegiate career early as a Buckeye was too much to pass up. Johnson will take the scholarship once filled by Utah State graduate transfer Abel Porter. Last week, Porter announced his basketball career had suddenly ended before ever suiting up for the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes got a commitment today from Roddy Gayle, a 4-Star 2022 shooting guard out of Lewiston Porter Senior High School in Youngstown, New York. Gayle is 6'5", is ranked as the nations 76th overall recruit and the No-1 prospect from New York in his class. Matt Bradshaw, head coach at his high school, said that Gayle's commitment to Ohio State is a "match made in heaven", it's a perfect marriage. I think his final three choices were the Buckeyes, Syracuse and Wake Forrest.

I now see that Roddy Gayle's final schools before selecting the Buckeyes were, Syracuse, Connecticut, Georgetown, Marquette, Wake Forrest and Pittsburgh.
