OSU kicked off their season on Wednesday in successful fashion, as they picked up two shutout wins. In the morning session, they dominated Northern Kentucky 7-0. Then in the afternoon/evening session, the Buckeyes took down in-state foe Dayton by a final score of 5-0.

Next up, Ohio State will go up against two in-state foes on Sunday when they host Xavier and Wright State.

The Buckeyes continued their dominance against in-state opponents on Sunday by posting two shutout victories. In their first match against Xavier, OSU posted a 7-0 victory. Then again in the late afternoon, they put up a 7-0 victory over Wright State.

Next up, Ohio State will host an ITA Kick-off weekend for a chance to compete at indoor nationals. Their first match of the weekend will be against Purdue on Saturday. Then on Sunday, the Buckeyes will play either Tulsa or Utah. Then will wrap up their weekend with a match against Toledo on Sunday evening.

OSU began their ITA Kick-Off Weekend by flexing their muscle on visiting Purdue for a 4-0 victory.

Next up, Ohio State will host Tulsa tomorrow at 1pm after the Golden Hurricanes defeated Utah earlier today. The winner of Ohio State vs. Tulsa will earn an automatic bid to the Indoor National Championships.

Playing in the second round of the ITA Kick-Off weekend in Columbus, the Buckeyes defeated Tulsa 4-0 in the dominant fashion, earlier today. With that win, they have earned an auto bid to the ITA Indoor National Championships in February.

Next up, Ohio State will host Toledo later today.

Could the Buckeyes complete a 7th consecutive sweep to open the season? Absolutely! As the Buckeyes competed in their second match of the day on Sunday evening, defeating visiting Toledo 4-0.

Next up, Ohio State hosts Texas next Saturday.

Not really a tennis fan, but anytime the Buckeyes can knock off Texas the #1 ranked team in the country, and I might as well say in a very convincing fashion by a final score of 4-1. If I'm not mistaken, last year when the Buckeyes were rated #1, it was Texas that then upset the Buckeyes.

Facing their first PAC12 foe of the weekend, the Buckeyes rolled to a 7-0 victory.

Next up, Ohio State will play against the #1 ranked team for a second week in a row, and look to pull out the victory again, when they host #1 USC on Sunday.

In the span of just over a week, the Buckeyes have taken down the #1 ranked team in the country for a second time, this time against #1 USC, whom OSU defeated 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Next up, Ohio State will host Texas A&M on Tuesday evening.

Not only have they beaten two #1 ranked teams ( Texas @ USC ) in successive weeks, they now next week will go into the National Indoor Championships held in Madison Wisconsin, as the #1 ranked team in the Country themselves. Go Bucks!

They should be #1, but there are no rankings released the week of indoor nationals, so they will actually enter the tournament as #2. But, the ITA may give them the #1 overall seed for the tournament. We'll see in the next couple days.

I jumped the gun a little, it probably also depends on if they can beat Texas A@M also ?

Still waiting on the draw and schedule for ITA Indoor Nationals, but I have to assume that OSU will be the #1 overall seed. But you are correct, their match-up with #7 Texas A&M tomorrow will loom large in that decision.

Ohio State is playing better than anyone in the country right now! Hopefully that play not only continues this weekend at nationals, but also tomorrow against the Aggies.

Playing in their final match before indoor nationals, the Buckeyes picked up another dominant victory at home, this time against #7 Texas A&M by a final score of 4-1.

Next up, Ohio State travels to Madison, Wisconsin for ITA Indoor Nationals this weekend.

Maybe if the new rankings do come out before this weekend, the Buckeyes will indeed be #1.
