The Buckeyes kicked off their 2020 schedule by traveling to the Michigan Invite over the weekend. OSU competed against #14 Michigan, #22 Tennessee and TCU. Although no team scores were kept, OSU faired well, as they picked up 8 singles wins, and 4 doubles wins.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to Stillwater for the ITA Kick-off, where they will face #24 Wake Forest in the first round. Then will face either #11 Oklahoma State or San Diego State in the second round.

Then, OSU moved on to face #11 and host Oklahoma State on Sunday. The Buckeyes were able to pull off a 4-3 upset, to claim the weekend championship, and earn an automatic bid to the ITA Indoor National Championships in February.

What a match for the Buckeyes on Friday night, as they picked up their third consecutive top 25 win to open the season, moving their record to 3-0, after their thrilling 4-2 victory over #5 Duke in Columbus. OSU led early on as they picked up the doubles point, and then closed out the victory at #2 singles with a third set tiebreak.

Next up, Ohio State heads to Chicago next weekend for the ITA Indoor National Team Tournament.

The Buckeyes trip to ITA Indoor Nationals to compete for an indoor national title ended abruptly when they fell to #22 Georgia Tech 4-1 in the first round (round of 16). OSU dropped the doubles point, and then could never really gain any momentum back. They gained a point at lower level singles play, but ultimately fell at #1 and #2 singles before losing their final singles point to lose the match.

Next up, Ohio State will get a consolation match tonight when they face-off against Michigan at ITA Indoors.

Anyone knows that winning your conference opener provides a huge boost of momentum for the rest of your season, especially when that victory is on the road. And that's exactly what the Buckeyes did, as they defeated Purdue on the road, 5-2, on Thursday night in their conference opener.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to #2 Florida State on Sunday for a huge match-up.

The Buckeyes posted a nice victory to open up their conference season over #29 Northwestern in Columbus on Saturday, with a 5-2 victory. The doubles point got everything rolling for the Buckeyes, while OSU's top two singles players posted rather easy victories.

Next up, Ohio State will host Michigan State on Friday, before hosting Michigan next Sunday.
