Missouri State (10-10, 4-3 MVC) was able to hold on and beat a average Valpo (10-10, 3-4 Conf) by six points tonight. Keandre Cook (Baltimore, MD) was a man playing against youngsters tonight, he scored 27 points and pulled down 5 boards to lead the winners. For the Crusaders, Mileek McMillan (Merrillville, IN) had 12 points to lead the way. Neither team shot it well. The winners hit 36.8% and Valpo was colder hitting just 31.8%.
