Kent State (16-6, 6-3 MAC) had to come from six down at the half, on their home court to defeat Akron (16-6, 6-3 MAC) tonight. Leading the winner with 20 points and 12 boards was, Danny Pippen (Detroit, MI). Antonio Williams (Chicago, IL) had 17 points, 5 boards and 3 assists. Loren Cristian Jackson (Chicago, Ill) led Akron with 19 points.
