Have you ever really counted the total number of Sports Programs that a University the size of Ohio State has. I would venture to say that there are very few if any at all, that has as many different programs that OSU does. I think you are probably covering 20 or more right now

Between men's and women's combined, OSU is over 30. There are a few of those that are not NCAA sports, but varsity programs they sponsor, such as Pistol and Synchronized Swimming. The only other schools that I can think of off the top of my head that have anywhere near that many programs are schools such as USC and UCLA. There may be a few more, but I don't know them off the top of my head.

Thanks! I knew that I had no idea at the number, until I started seeing just how many that you cover on here. I as well as a lot of others are big Buckeyes fans, and if it wasn't for the fact that you do this, even though I know that I fall way behind at times, I pretty much know that I can catch up and get up to date on any sport that I chose.

I am covering all the NCAA sports, but not those that aren't (although OSU will likely win national championships in those this year). I really enjoy doing it, and love hearing that other people read it and appreciate it.

I know that you cover all of that also, I have enough trouble just keeping up with the Buckeyes though, I do pay attention to a lot of the others as well. Again thanks, I do appreciate what you do.

On Tuesday, the national championship qualifiers in rifle were announced. Qualifying teams include: Air Force, Akron, Kentucky, Murray State, Nebraska, Navy, TCU, and West Virginia. This is in addition to 9 individual qualifiers, which included Ariel Hall of Ohio State in the air rifle competition.

Individual and team competitions in smallbore three-position (60 shots) will be held Friday, March 13, and individual and team competitions in air rifle (60 shots) will be held Saturday, March 14. The overall team champion will be determined by combining the smallbore and air rifle team total scores into one aggregate score for each institution.

The championships will be March 13-14 at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky.
