Rhode Island (18-5, 10-1 A-10) dominated a very you George Washington (10-14, 4-7 Conf) team yesterday. This was the first game that I DVR while I was working last night. The Colonials started four Freshmen in this one and for a bit they looked pretty good, only to get beat up on by 31 points. Leading George Washington was, Shawn Walker Jr. (Shawn Walker Jr. )with 14 points and 5 assists. Jameer Nelson (Haverford, PA) added 11 points, 5 boards and 5 assists. As a team George Washington hit an ice cold 29.1% from the floor. The Rams hit 51.8% from the floor and that includes 42.9% from three point land. Leading the way with 24 points was lighting fast, Fatts Russell (Philadelphia, PA). Jeff Dowtin contributed in the win with 14 points and 6 boards.
