Santa Barbara (16-8, 5-4 Big West) posted a huge conference win last night, but it was not easy as they blew a 17 point lead before rebounding to post the win. Irvine (15-10, 7-2 Conf) played like the defending conference champ in the 2nd half, but could never get control of this one and it cost them in the end. Leading the winning Gauchos was Amadou Sow (Bamako, Mali) with 21 points and 10 boards. Brad Greene (Lone Pine, CA) led the Anteaters with 16 points and 6 boards.
