Ryan Day to receive contract extension, salary will reach $7.6M

It is good to be a football coach who wins football games at Ohio State. Ryan Day has received a three year contract extension that will place him near the top of CFB coaching salaries. Then again is anybody worthy of $7.6 million a year?

Probably no coach is worth that much. The funny thing is this still only makes him the 3rd highest paid coach in the Big 10, behind the "Strange " one in Michigan, and James "Overrated" Franklin in Penn State. We won't even mention what Nick at Alabama, and Dabo at Clemson are making.
