The Buckeyes (21-9, 11-8 Big) had to come from behind to post the big win over a very good Illinois (20-10, 12-7 Conf)) team. Freshman E.J.Liddell (Belleville, IL) had a career high 17 points to go with 11 boards and 2 assists. Kaleb Wesson ( Westerville, Oh) had 19 points and 5 boards, while CJ Walker (Indianapolis, IN) added 15 points, 6 boards and 5 big assists. Ayo Dosunmu (Chicago, IL) led Illinois with 21 points, 5 boards and 5 assists.

Great win for the Buckeyes tonight over Illinois, a come from behind win at that. Still playing pretty short handed, but a couple players have stepped up, and are playing there best basketball of the year.

The good news is the Buckeyes overcame a terrible shooting night. I thought they were a team that would live and die by the 3 pointer. Low turnovers, excellent free throw shooting and winning the boards overcame it.
