East Tennessee State (29-4) sets a record for wins and they still have the Southland conference tourney championship game left. Western Carolina (19-12) was never in this one as they fell behind 7-0 early and never recovered. The Buccaneers raise their win streak to 11 straight with this win and hope to see it go to 12 in the conference final. Leading the way in the win was, Daivien Williamson (Winston-Salem, NC) with 20 points. Tray Boyd (Memphis, TN) was solid with 18 points, 6 boards and 4 assists. For the Catamounts, Mason Faulkner (Glasgow, KY) led the way with a game high 29 points, 8 boards and 7 assists.
