There will be no basketball games in Columbus this week. Ohio State was set to take on Penn State in the Schottenstein Center on Wednesday night, but that will no longer take place. The game has been postponed due to Covid-19 issues within the Nittany Lions program.

Ohio State point guard C.J. Walker has been ruled out indefinitely with torn ligaments in his right hand. According to Head Coach Chris Holtmann, C.J. has battled this hand injury since the Buckeyes first preseason scrimmage and as the pain and discomfort has increased it became clear to him and the Medical Staff that he needed to rest and rehab in hopes that his hand will heal.

Ohio State guard Jimmy Sotos will miss the rest of the season with a separated shoulder that will require surgery. The Senior Buckeye guard initially suffered the injury late in the game in the January 9th win at Rutgers. Head Coach Chris Holtmann estimated Sotos recovery timeline as "lengthy", which explains why the decision was made for him to have the surgery now.
