So far, the Buckeyes have announced their schedule for their first two series and two series in December. I'll keep the results updated, and update the schedule as it becomes available.

The Buckeyes opened their season with a series split against #4 Minnesota. In the first game, on Saturday, the Gophers earned a dominant 4-0 victory, as they spread their scoring attack over the span of the three periods. Grace Zumwinkle tallied 2 goals for Minnesota, while Josey Dunne and Taylor Wente each scored one goal. Andrea Braendli recorded 14 saves for OSU, while Lauren Bench tallied 36 saves for the Gophers.

In game 2, the Buckeyes evened it up with a 2-1 victory. Minnesota took a lead in the first period, but then the Buckeyes tallied two unanswered in the first quarter, which was all the scoring the game saw. Grace Zumwinkle talied her third goal of the weekend for the Golden Gophers. Liz Schepers and Tatum Skaggs each scored a goal for the Buckeyes. Andrea Braendli picked up the win with 25 saves, Lauren Bench recorded 33 saves in the losing effort.

Next up, Ohio State hosts a two game series against Wisconsin next Friday and Saturday.

After a split with #4 Minnesota last week, this weekend was a huge series with #1 Wisconsin. The weekend kicked off on Friday, when the Buckeyes got a huge 3-2 victory over the Badgers. But then on Friday, they couldn't keep the momentum going, as Wisconsin pulled in a dominant 5-0 shutout over OSU.

Next up, Ohio State will host a two game set against Minnesota on the 11th and 12th.

It's unknown when the Buckeyes will play their next games, as the WCHA has postponed both of OSU's next two series. I'll keep the thread updated on when the next series will be.

After two solid victories to begin the new calendar year, 4-1 and 7-1 over visiting Bemidji State, the Buckeyes were in action against #1 Wisconsin over the weekend. Both contests were as tight as could be, and OSU fell in the first game, 2-1. Then, in the second game, the Buckeyes pulled out a 2-1 victory in OT over the Badgers.

Ohio State will travel to Minnesota Duluth next weekend for a two game set.

Although Minnesota State isn't the best team they'll face, the Buckeyes still picked up two key conference victories over the weekend, winning 3-0 and 7-2 on Friday and Saturday.

Next up, Ohio State will host two games against Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.

Over the weekend, what many expected to be an intense two game series between #3 Ohio State and #2 Minnesota, didn't disappoint. On Friday, the Golden Gophers lit the ice ablaze, beating the Buckeyes 7-4. But on Saturday, the Buckeyes got payback, as they picked up a 3-1 victory.

Next up, the two teams will play, yet again! Ohio State travels to Minneapolis for two games against Minnesota next Friday and Saturday.

Surprising many people, including myself, the 4th-ranked Buckeyes earned a weekend sweep over #2 Minnesota on the road in Minneapolis. Not only did they earn a series sweep of the Golden Gophers, but they have won 4 of 6 of their matchups for the season now. On Friday night, the Buckeyes picked up a tight 2-1 victory. Then on Saturday, it was just as tight, as OSU picked up a 3-2 win.

Next up, Ohio State wraps up their regular season on Friday and Saturday when they host St. Cloud State.

The Buckeyes final two games of the regular season against St. Cloud State have been canceled. Unless another team schedules the Buckeyes for this weekend (that looks unlikely), their next game(s) will be in the WCHA conference tournament.

Ohio State is headed to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the WCHA Tournament to face Minnesota Duluth in the semifinal game of the conference tournament, on March 6th. If they win that game they will play in the championships game the next day.

A huge second period propelled the Buckeyes to a 7-2 victory over #5 Minnesota Duluth in the Semifinal of the WCHA Tournament. That win puts the Buckeyes into Sunday's championship game against #1 Wisconsin.

The Buckeyes failed to defend their WCHA Tournament title on Sunday afternoon, but it was a thrilling one, as they lost to Wisconsin in Minneapolis, 3-2 in overtime.

Although they didn't win the conference tournament, Ohio State's resume was good enough to earn the #3 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament. They will take on #6 Boston College in the NCAA Quarterfinals on March 16 at 7pm in Erie, Pennsylvania.

The NCAA Tournament started for the Buckeyes on Tuesday night, when they played #6 Boston College in the Quarterfinals. OSU trailed early on, as the Eagles scored in the 9th minute, for the only goal in the first period. The Buckeyes then proceeded to score 3 unanswered goals (2 in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd), to pull out the victory.

Ohio State now advances to the Frozen Four in Eria, PA, where it will be a rematch of the WCHA Championship Game, when the Buckeyes will play #2 Wisconsin on Thursday.
