The Lady Buckeyes had three players in double figures today as they opened their season with an easy 82-47 win over Duquesne. The Lady Buckeyes opened up a 10-2 lead in the first three minutes, and never looked back. They were led in scoring by Jacy Sheldon with 20 points as they shot 50% (33-66) from the field. Braxtin Miller added 16 points and Dorka Juhasz had 10 points and 12 rebounds for her 23rd career double-double.

OSU followed-up their dominant season opening victory with an even more impressive victory in the second game, as they destroyed visiting Kent State 103-47 on Wednesday afternoon. This game was basically over by the time it started, as the Buckeyes held a commanding 31-4 lead at the end of the first quarter, and just kept building from there. Dorka Juhasz led OSU with a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds), while Jacy Sheldon also tallied 16 points. Kateri Poole and Aaliyah Patty both put up 15 points for the winners. Leading the Golden Flashes was Nila Blackford with 9 points.

Next up, Ohio State will host Northern Kentucky on Sunday afternoon.

The Buckeyes (3-0) kept rolling in dominant fashion to open the season on Sunday, as they blew past Northern Kentucky 96-63. The Norse (0-4) were never really in contention in this one, but they didn't manager to put a decent first quarter together. Leading OSU was Jacy Sheldon with 20 points, followed by Dorka Juhasz with 18 points. Lindsey Duvall led NKU with 12 points.

Next up, Ohio State hosts Miami (OH) on Thursday at 4pm.

The Buckeyes' game against St. Mary's on this coming Tuesday was canceled, so they made it up with a game this past Thursday. OSU (4-0) stayed undefeated after another dominant victory, this time against the Miami (1-2) Redhawks, winning 104-65. The Redhawks actually played somewhat decent of a game, the Buckeyes were just too good, as they kept adding to their lead. Dorka Juhasz dominated for OSU, tallying a double-double with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Jacy Sheldon and Braxtin Miller each scored 13 points. Leading the way for Miami was Peyton Scott (Lynchburg-Clay HS Grad) with a really good 22 point performance.

Next up, Ohio State will host Iowa next Saturday.

Updating this thread after the last couple of games for the Buckeyes, they picked up wins in their first two Big Ten games. OSU defeated Penn State 82-69 in Columbus, then defeated Illinois in Champaign, 78-55.

Next up, Ohio State plays at Iowa on Wednesday.

It took some extra time, but the Buckeyes (7-0, 3-0) pulled out an overtime victory on the road against a very solid Iowa team. The Hawkeyes (8-3, 4-3) dominated the first half of the game, but OSU made a comeback in the second half to pull out the victory in extra time, 84-82. Madison Greene led the Buckeye scoring effort with 20 points, while Jacy Sheldon and Braxtin Miller each scored 18 points. For Iowa, leading all scorers was Caitlin Clark with a 27 point performance, while tallying a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Next up, Ohio State travels to Lincoln to take on Nebraska on Saturday.

The Buckeyes (7-1) fell for the first time this season, after losing to Nebraska in Lincoln on Saturday, 63-55. The Cornhuskers (7-4) led by just 2 points after one quarter, but swelled that lead to 9 by halftime. OSU played even with them in the third quarter, and had a single point advantage in the fourth, but were never able to come back and earn the victory. With a great performance for Nebraska, Kate Cain led the way with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 9 blocks. For the Buckeyes, Dorka Juhasz posted 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Ohio State will look to rebound on Thursday afternoon when they host Michigan.

Even though Naz Hillmon ( from Cleveland ) scored 50 points for Michigan, the Ohio State women's team were able to hand Michigan their first loss of the year 81-77. Not only did Hillmon have 50 points, ( not 1-three pointer ) she also had 15 rebounds. The Ohio State Women's team will not be able to participate in the post-season ( thanks to a former assistant coach ) it's still fun that they can still mess things up for Michigan.

Just like VetteMan said, the Buckeyes got a huge win over #11 Michigan this past week.

Next up, Ohio State hosts #7 Maryland tonight. Then their huge week continues as they travel to #16 Indiana on Thursday.

The Buckeye Women got another great win tonight 88-86 over the 10th ranked University of Maryland Woman's team. The Buckeye Ladies almost blew an 11 point lead in the last 2 minutes of the game, but managed to hold on for the win. The Lady Buckeyes also broke Maryland's 24-game winning streak in Big Ten Games also.

The first article that I read was not really accurate, as Maryland was really ranked 7th instead of 10th. Maryland was also undefeated, just as Michigan was at the time. This win tonight also moves the Buckeye Women into first place in the Big Ten.

That was certainly a great win for the Buckeyes on Monday against a top 10 team in #7 Maryland.

Tonight, they have another top match-up. This time against #16 Indiana on the road in Bloomington.
