The Buckeyes completed their weekend in TSUN, defeating #14 Michigan 4-3 on Sunday, tying up their season series with the Wolverines. OSU won the doubles point out of the gate, but it was a close one, as they won at #2 and #3 doubles. The Buckeyes claimed victory by winning at #1, #2, and #6 singles, in a tight, hard fought match.

Next up, Ohio State hosts Minnesota and Wisconsin this coming weekend.

It wasn't even close for the Buckeyes, as they wrapped up their regular season on Saturday, hosting Penn State, where OSU posted a 6-0 victory. This victory for OSU, helps them claim the B1G Title for the regular season.

Next up, Ohio State will head to the B1G Tournament, beginning April 28, where they have earned the #1 seed. The entire tournament will be in Madison, Wisconsin.

B1G Champs! After being crowned as B1G regular season co-champions, and earning the #1 seed for the B1G Tournament, the Buckeyes won their third tournament title in program history. In the quarterfinal, the Buckeyes dominated Michigan State, winning 4-0. Their tightest match of the tournament came in the semifinal against Iowa, where OSU ultimately won 4-2. Then finally, in the championship match, the Buckeyes downed #23 Michigan 4-1.

Ohio State will now wait to see where the NCAA will seed them for the tournament.

Not only have the Buckeyes been named to the NCAA Tournament, earning an auto bid by winning the B1G, but they also earned the #15 overall seed, and by being in the top 16, have earned one of the 16 host sites for the first and second round. They will play U. of Illinois-Chicago in the first round, and the other two teams in that regional are Ball State and Vanderbilt.

After a successful B1G Tournament, the Buckeyes took that momentum into the NCAA Tournament, playing at home. In the 1st Round, OSU dominated in a 4-0 victory over Illinois-Chicago. Moving onto the second round, and still serving as a host, OSU went up against a very solid Vanderbilt squad, and eventually came out with a 4-3 win. Against the Commodores, the Buckeyes lost the doubles point, then went down 2-0 with a loss at #1 singles. The Buckeyes then started putting it together, after claiming victories at #4, #2 and #6 singles, and taking a 3-2 lead. Vanderbilt then tied it up by claiming a win at #3 singles. #5 singles went the way of OSU, along with the match.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to Orlando and the championship site, where they'll play #2 Texas in the Quarterfinal.

Ohio State's great season has come to an end, at least the team competition has. The Buckeyes were knocked out of the tournament in the Quarterfinals, after making it to the championship site, by losing to #2 Texas, 4-1 on Sunday. The Longhorns started out hot by cruising to claim the doubles' point, then moved to a 2-0 lead after claiming a win at #3 singles. Irina Cantos Siemers would not let the Buckeyes fade into the night without scoring though, as she pulled out a victory at #1 singles in dominant fashion. Then at #4 and #2 singles, Texas would claim victories to earn the team win and advance.

Although the team season is over for the Buckeyes, Irina Cantos Siemers will represent the OSU in the NCAA Single Championships, while the team of Kolie Allen/Isabelle Boulais will represent the Buckeyes in the NCAA Doubles Championship, beginning next week.
