Heading into the D1 Men's Tennis tournament, Florida was named the #1 overall seed, and that lived up, as the Gators won the national championship, their first in program history. Not only did they win, but they never really received a challenge, as no other team scored more that one point against them, while also recording a few shutouts. Their path to the title included the following:

vs. South Alabama - W 4-0

vs. #16 Illinois - W 4-0
vs. #8 Texas A&M - W 4-1
vs. #4 Texas - W 4-0
vs. #2 Baylor - W 4-1

For just the first time in program history, Ole Miss has won national championship in D1 Women's Golf. After four rounds of stroke play, the 5th-ranked Rebels were sitting in 4th place. That put them against 5th place Texas in the Quarterfinals of match play, and Ole Miss pulled out a tight 3-2 victory. Moving onto the Semifinals, it was another tight one, as the Runnin' Rebels took down 8th place Arizona, 3-2. That win put them into the championship match against 3rd place Oklahoma State, and the Rebels were pretty dominant in that match, winning 4-1.
