Baylor has claimed their first national title in program history, winning the championship in D1 Men's Basketball, and their first championship game appearance since 1948. Not only did they win, but they defeated the previously undefeated favorite to win it all Gonzaga, in pretty much a blowout victory. Not only did they blow out the Zags for the title, but they essentially manhandled every team they played during the whole tournament, without much resistance in any round. Heading into the tournament, the Bears were one of the clear favorites, having earned a #1 seed.

Their path to the title included the following:
vs. Hartford - W 79-55
vs. Wisconsin - W 76-63
vs. Arkansas - W 81-72
vs. Houston - W 78-59
vs. Gonzaga - W 86-70

The D1 Women's Basketball national tournament was a thrilling one, especially into the Elite Eight and Final Four. Stanford eventually came out on top, winning their first national championship since 1992, despite finishing as runner-up twice in that time period. They won the national title over fellow Pac-12 rival Arizona by a single point in a stellar championship game. This was their 3rd title in program history.

Their path to the title included the following:
vs. Utah Valley - W 87-44
vs. Oklahoma State - W 73-62
vs. Louisville - W 78-63
vs. South Carolina - W 66-65
vs. Arizona - W 54-53

The participants for the Men's Gymnastics national championship have been determined as of Tuesday. The championship meet will begin on April 16 with two pre-qualifying sessions. Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance from each pre-qualifying session to the finals session on April 17. The championships will be at the Maturi Pavillion in Minneapolis, Minnesota, hosted by the University of Minnesota.

The top 12 teams in the nation, based on qualifying scores throughout the season, made the championship, while individuals from Army and Air Force qualified for the tournament in individual events. Ohio State is the lone school from Ohio in the championship, and are ranked #5, and will be joined by 6 other schools from the Big Ten. Stanford is the defending national champion, and have earned the #3 overall seed, while Oklahoma and Michigan make up the top two seeds for the tournament.
