After an easy win in their season opener, Saturday's competition against #9 Rutgers in Columbus was a little different, as the Buckeyes fell 22-12. OSU got on the board first with a goal by Tre Leclaire, but the Knights tied it up, and the two teams played a little back and forth through the first half of the first quarter. From there on, it was all Rutgers. Adam Charalambides (5 goals, 1 assist) and Kieran Mullins (2 goals, 4 assists) each tallied 6 points for Rutgers. Leading the way for the Buckeyes was Griffin Hughes (5 goals) and Jack Myers (2 goals, 3 assists) each with 5 points.

Next up, Ohio State travels to Penn State next Saturday.

Hosting #3 Maryland on Saturday, the Buckeyes struggled to get much momentum going, as they fell to the Terrapins 16-8. Maryland struck first at the 7:40 mark, and the Buckeyes were able to tie it up at the 4:34 mark. After that, it was all Terrapins in this one. Although OSU was able to score 8 goals, this game was never really close.

Logan Wisnauskas led the way for the Terrapins with 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists). Jack Myers again led the way for the Buckeyes with 6 points (4 goals, 2 assists).

Next up, Ohio State plays at Michigan on Saturday.

Playing against a top ten team, the Buckeyes were back in action on Saturday at #8 Rutgers, where they ultimately fell 10-9 in a heartbreaker. OSU got on the board first, just over a minute into the game, but the Scarlet Knights rattled off 4 consecutive goals, and the Buckeyes were never able to make a full comeback from that.

Leading the way for Rutgers was Adam Charalambides with 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist). While Jack Myers led the Buckeyes and all scorers with 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist).

Next up, Ohio State will host Johns Hopkins on Saturday, late morning.

After sweeping the season series over Michigan, the Buckeyes looked to continue that success in the B1G Quarterfinal on Saturday, and unfortunately weren't able to do so, falling to the Wolverines 15-11, to end the Buckeye season. The victors were led by a 4 point performance (3 goals, 1 assist) from Michael Boehm, while Jack Myers (3 goals, 1 assist) and Jackson Reid (4 goals) each put up 4 points for OSU.
