The Buckeyes are really struggling to start this season. As they returned to Virginia Beach this past weekend, they fell to #9 Maryland on Friday 2-0. Then on Sunday, they were hoping to finally get in the win column, but they were unable to do so, as they lost to Rutgers 1-0.

Next up, Ohio State will have their home opener as they host two games against Iowa, next Friday and Sunday.

The Buckeyes continued their rough patch to start the season over the weekend, as they fell to #3 Iowa in Columbus, two separate times, falling 2-1 on both Friday and Sunday.

Ohio State still looks for their first win of the season and will continue that quest this weekend as they play two at Northwestern on Friday and Sunday.

OSU fought their hardest at #5 Northwestern over the weekend, but came up short in overtime in both attempts. On Friday, the Buckeyes fell 4-3 in overtime, before falling 3-2, again in overtime, on Sunday.

Ohio State will next host two games against Indiana next weekend, on Friday and Sunday.

Not only did the Buckeyes finally win their for the first time this season, but they picked up a weekend sweep, and both of which were dominant shutout victories. Hosting Indiana over the weekend, the Buckeyes picked up a solid 5-0 victory, and then in an even more dominant victory, OSU picked up a 6-0 victory on Sunday.

Next up, Ohio State will host two games against Michigan State on Friday and Sunday.

The Buckeyes picked up another pair of dominant victories this past weekend, as they took two from Michigan State in Columbus. In their first match-up, OSU came out with a 4-2 victory, but in their second game on Sunday, it was much more dominant, as the Buckeyes rolled to a 5-0 win.

Ohio State will wrap up their season this weekend, as they travel to Penn State for games on Friday and Sunday.

OSU wrapped up their regular season over the weekend by splitting a pair of games on the road at #15 Penn State. On Friday, the Nittany Lions pulled out a 2-1 victory over the Buckeyes. But then, OSU was able to even up the weekend series with a thrilling 3-2 victory in overtime.

Now, Ohio State will turn their attention to the B1G Tournament, where they will play in the quarterfinal on Wednesday in Iowa City against Penn State.

The Buckeyes are playing their absolute best, at the right time. After earning a spot in the B1G Tournament, the Buckeyes were pitted against #14 Penn State and pulled off an upset, winning 4-3 in a thrilling overtime match.

That win put OSU into the B1G Semifinals, where they faced #5 Northwestern on Thursday night. Going into the game as huge underdogs, the Buckeyes pulled off yet another upset, defeating the Wildcats 2-1 in overtime.

Next up, Ohio State will play in the B1G Championship game for the first time since 2008. They'll be playing for the conference's auto bid to the NCAA Tournament against top-seeded nationally ranked #2 Michigan on Saturday at noon.

Shocking everyone and advancing to the B1G Championship Game, the Buckeyes played Michigan, but ultimately fell 4-0 to the Wolverines.

Although they didn't have a great regular season, they played just well enough to make the conference tournament and did something they hadn't done since 2008, advance to the conference championship game.
