Two teams punched their automatic tickets to the dance on Saturday. Liberty claimed the auto bid in the Atlantic Sun for the 5th time in program history, and their first since 2019. In the semifinal game, they defeated Stetson 77-64. They are playing North Alabama in the championship game, but N. Alabama is ineligible for the tournament, so the Flames have claimed the qualifying spot.

The other team to punch their ticket is Morehead State, making their 8th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and their first since 2011. They won the Ohio Valley Tournament, defeating Belmont 86-71 in the championship game.

Winthrop earned the auto bid in the Big South Conference by smacking Campbell 80-53 in the championship game earlier today. The Eagle now sit at an impressive 23-1 on the season. This is their 11 NCAA tourney appearance in program history and their first since 2017.
