The four Schools.. Cincinnati, Houston, BYU and UCF.
I mentioned some of these Schools in a Previous post a month or so ago. This does make 100% Sense. IMO I wouldn't be surprised if in the future they Eye Boise State or even Memphis as a future candidate for Another team to the BIG XII. For WVU a Trip to Cincinnati or even UCF would be a welcome sight.
With these potential additions I look for the BIG XII to make an East and West Divison for the Conference.

Makes competitive sense, makes the best out of a bad tv market sense. Yet in our politically sensitive world, would BYU be acceptable to the TV networks.

Boise St. and Memphis would be a definite yes in my mind along with the 4 previously mentioned.

Of course this opens up the question who does the AAC go after to replace the three they will be losing. Anyone see Marshall getting a look from the AAC?

It totally Makes Sense. NOW THE AAC will have to find Schools to fill in for the teams heading to the BIG XII... MY guess is Marshall Might just get an Invite to join the AAC.. along with Louisiana Tech, WKU and Maybe even UAB...Omega wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 1:01 pm Big 12 formally invites Cincinnati, Houston, Boise St, and UCF.

As to Marshall, I think they could compete in a revamped AAC, yet they would not bring TV market value. I follow and root for Marshall, but they honestly do not even get as much support in Huntington as WVU. Marshall screwed the pooch when they left the MAC. They gambled the CUSA would be the premier G5 conference but lost the bet.
