Texas Tech Fires Head Coach Matt Wells

Texas Tech has fired head coach Matt Wells despite a 5-3 record in 2021. With an overall record of 13-17, his dismissal is only news worthy because it continues a trend of firing coaches midseason instead of waiting to seasons end. I guess schools want to get a head start on searching for new coaches..
