For the first time in over 40 years, when Herschel Walker and co. dominated their competition, the Georgia Bulldogs are national champions in football. After rolling past Michigan in the CFP Semifinal, 34-11, the Bulldogs pulled away from rival Alabama late in the championship game, to ultimately win the title 33-18. Not only was this Georgia's first title in over 40 years, this was just their 2nd title in program history.

As of Monday, the bracket for D3 Men's Basketball has been released, and it's time to get March Madness under way. First round play begins today, with second round games being played tomorrow. No tournament was held the last two years, so the defending national champion from 2019 is Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and they are returning to the tournament as one of the top seeds. The Final Four and Championship will be March 18-19 at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The following teams made the tournament from Ohio: Case Western, Heidelberg, Marietta, and Mount Union.

Tuesday's final qualifier announcement came in D2 Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field. Ashland is the two-time defending national champion on the men's side, but if they want to repeat, they'll have to do so without their legend of a head coach, Jud Logan, who passed away before the start of the season. Grand Valley State will be trying to repeat on the women's side, which would be their second time accomplishing that in the last ten years. The meet will be held March 11-12 at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas.

The qualifiers in D1 Women's Swimming & Diving were revealed on Wednesday night, and there is a plethora of qualified swimmers from schools in Ohio, mainly for the Buckeyes. Virginia is looking to defend their national title, and has a good shot to do so. But Stanford won the three before that and will look to regain the podium.
