Billy Packer Has Died

Broadcaster Billy Packer, synonymous with college basketball and the Final Four telecasts has died at age 82. Primarily working for CBS and Raycom, I found him to be both knowledgeble and colorful in his roll as commentator yet not irritating like McGuire or Vitale. Packer played college basketball at Wake Forest back in the 60's and more often than not covered the ACC.
Packer was a class act in my opinion. He was TV's Mr. Final Four.
