Indiana State took a 1-0 lead and then was outscored 9-2 by Miami last night. For Miami, Edgardo Villegas (Vega Alta, Puerto Rico), Yohandy Morales (Miami, Fla.), and Blake Cyr (Windermere, Fla.) each had two hits. Cyr had two bombs and drove in five. Morales had a bomb and drove in two. Villegas had a bomb with one run batted in. Zach Levenson (Oviedo, Fla.) had one RBI. Ben Chestnutt (Debary, Fla.) picked up the win to improve to 1-0. For Indiana State, Luis Hernandez (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) went yard and he had one RBI. Randall Diaz (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) had one RBI. Brennyn Cutts (Greenup, Ill.) took the loss. He is 0-1.
