Coach Kelley is definitely an improvement in the coaching area, but may need a few recruiting classes to instill his style of play. I predict them go 8-4 or 9-3.

Sept. 11 MICHIGAN - Loss
Sept. 18 at Michigan State - Win
Sept. 25 STANFORD - Win
Oct. 2 at Boston College - Win
Oct. 9 PITTSBURGH - Loss
Oct. 16 WESTERN MICHIGAN - Win
Oct. 23 at Navy - Win
Oct. 30 TULSA - Win
Nov. 6 Open Date
Nov. 13 UTAH - Loss
Nov. 20 ARMY - Win
Nov. 27 at USC - Loss

Notre Dame has nowhere to go but up.

On a side note..........How much money will the Big Ten have to generate per team for Notre Dame to finally join? There has to be an amount that would make it too good of a deal to pass up. Especially if we do go to the Mega Conferences.

I see Notre Dame being 6-6 this season. They lost a lot on offense. It will be interesting to see who steps in at QB. They do have Armando Allen coming back as well as the very talented Michael Floyd coming back which will help out their new QB whoever it may be.

2010 Notre Dame Football Schedule
Sept. 4 PURDUE - Win
Sept. 11 MICHIGAN - Loss
Sept. 18 at Michigan State - Win
Sept. 25 STANFORD - lose
Oct. 2 at Boston College - Win

Oct. 16 WESTERN MICHIGAN - Win
Oct. 23 at Navy - lose
Oct. 30 TULSA - Win
Nov. 6 Open Date
Nov. 13 UTAH - Loss
Nov. 20 ARMY - Win
Nov. 27 at USC - Loss

6-6, 7-5 no better, no worse.
Get to a bowl and have Brian Kelley see if he can recruit at ND

First of all it is UND. Brian Kelley has won every where he has been. To win this year his QB(Crist) has to stay healthy. If he stays healthy, the Irish win 8-10 games. As far as recruiting, Kelley is already doing a good job and with some early wins it will only get better. Make no mistake about this, Brian Kelley can flat out coach. For those he thinks he is over his head remember there were people who thought Tress. was over his head and we all know how that turned out.

[quote][First of all it is UND/quote]

Nobody cares if it's ND or UND you understand what he was talking about so it should be fine

As for predictions I see them going anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4with their losses coming from Michigan State, Stanford, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Utah and USC

I think MSU and Boston College games will be down to the wire

Personally I'd like to see em go 0-12 and laugh at Brian Kelley falling flat on his face

If Brian Kelley fails at NDU, then they will just throw him under the bus and keep hiring new guys until,
"the ghosts are awakened".

NDU stinks, and it is staring yet another mediocre year right in the face.

Another mature post from dub. You blast fsufly for this same $hit on UOS threads. Coach K will surprise everyone this year leading the Irish back into the top 20 and a major bowl bid.

Sorry about the typo (Notre Dame U.) that was my bad...although it doesn't matter in the scheme of things..that isn't there name. I think Kelley is finally what the Irish have been looking for and I think they have a decent season with a Bowl game. Irish fans are hard to please so I think nothing less than a BCS game would be sufficient.

2010 Notre Dame Football Schedule
Sept. 4 PURDUE - Win
Sept. 11 MICHIGAN - Win
Sept. 18 at Michigan State - Toss up
Sept. 25 STANFORD - Win (Because they lost their star running back)
Oct. 2 at Boston College - Toss up
Oct. 9 PITTSBURGH - Loss
Oct. 16 WESTERN MICHIGAN - Win
Oct. 23 at Navy - Win
Oct. 30 TULSA - Win
Nov. 6 Open Date
Nov. 13 UTAH - Win (Simply because Utah is coming to South Bend)
Nov. 20 ARMY - Win
Nov. 27 at USC - Win (Irish are in their best place to win in many years with Kiffin and the USC problems..)

Irish go 9-3 with a good bowl game...(Gator or Motor City)...

I really watch Irish recruiting and Kelley can recruit..The Irish have landed two top Florida prospects..a 4 and 5 star that both Chose ND over OSU and Florida..plus many more..and the Irish are young right now..Plus they have Teo at the lineback spot..

5-7 maybe 6-6...They still don't have any D..Kelly doesn't have the horses to win high scoring shootouts yet. He doesn't place to much on playing good Defense just scoring as many points as possable.

How is it inmature to state facts?

They've shown evidence to everyone that backs up everything I said.

The NDU, was only because you got your panties in a wad.

He's right though. ND won't join the Big Ten because they don't want to finish 3rd (at best) every year.
ND isn't about winning they are about keeping tradition alive. Tradition states that most years they schedule 6 or 7 cream puffs and finish in the top 15.....Then America woke up and realized that the Irish are frauds and it's showing. They fired a good coach for a lousy coach, got rid of him then brought in another coach who skipped out on HIS team right before the bidggest Bowl game in school history.... Good ole Rich Rod will be looking for a job soon maybe they can snatch him up.

If we're remembering Tress, whom I was all for from the get go (I hate Glen Mason the other top option),
then let's make sure that we remember those who thought Rich Rod was going to turn Michigan into a spread offense Buckeye demolition machine.

Brian Kelley is a good coach, I liked him at UC. But he has issues, and he will not be able to get the same recruits he got at UC.
Don't read into that as he won't be able to get talent.
At UC, he got guys that were left overs, the ones nobody wanted, and he made the chip on their shoulders into a
mountain and they played to prove people wrong.

At ND, he'll get spoiled rich catholic kids.

Brian Kelley will not spoil anyone. He called out Michael Floyd right off and Floyd responded. As far as getting nothing but spoiled, rich Catholic kids, it seems Dub is again showing his bigotry.
