The Ohio Express are currently putting their 2015 spring/summer teams together. The Express is an established girls basketball club and centrally located in Muskingum county that was founded in 2004. We offer experienced coaching with the majority of our coaches having high school level experience. We also offer coaching mentorships for new coaches wanting to gain experience. The Ohio Express are looking for players for the following teams.
High School Exposure
The exposure team will be playing 4-5 tournaments in the fall including the Deep South Classic in Raleigh, NC. The Deep South is the springs largest exposure tournament. This team will be playing a full expsoure schedule in July and its players will be attending Ohio Girls Basketball Report events. There are several spots available. 8th grade
The 8th grade will also be playing a full exposure schedule as well as playing at the state of Ohio State tournament. The 8th grade team has two-three spots available and is coached by Brent Glass. Contact coach Glass at (740) 683-3378 or brentglass@ohioexpressbasketball.com
7th grade
Coach Jake Stewart is looking for several players for his team. This team will play local tournaments as well as in the state of Ohio State tournament. This team will also look to qualify for AAU Nationals.
6th grade
Coach Mark Lane is looking for players with several spots available. Coach Lane is co-founder of the Express and has coached at the national level for many years. This team will look to qualify for AAU Nationals. Contact coach Lane at mvlsports@hotmail.com
6th grade
Coach Luke Kline is looking for players and has several spots open. Coach Kline will take his team to the AAU State tournament and possibly other national tournaments.
5th grade
The 5th grade has 3-4 spots open and will play at the AAU state tournament as well as potentially some national type tournaments. The team is coached by Allen Harris and Ashley Harris. Allen played for Muskingum college and Ashley played at Hiram college.
