Coal Grove 7th Grade girls' basketball team beat 7th Grade Minford Lady Falcons tonight at Minford !

Coal Grove 8th Grade girls' basketball team beat 8th Grade Minford Lady Falcons 41-38 in overtime this evening at Minford!

Very impressive win by Coal Grove 8th tonight! Minford has a great team.....very well coached! C.G. is also a great team with great coaching. Its been fun watching both teams the last several years. I knew it would be a great game when these two powerhouse 8th grade teams played each other this season! Both teams and coaches should be very proud after going out and giving that kind of effort tonight. Without a doubt two of the best 8th grade teams around! WAY TO PLAY HARD LADIES!!!

Coal Grove 8th has been playing much better since their loss at Ironton. Lady Hornets will be hosting the Lady Tigers at Coal Grove on Thursday. Should be an interesting rematch.

Southeastern 8th grade girls are still undefeated with a current record of 9-0. Their toughest game was a 6 point win during Christmas break against Eastern Brown. They have won all other games by very comfortable margins.
