Minford over Valley by 4 I think.
Northwest over Burg 43-33

Northwest vs Minford in the championship.
Was you at the Valley game? I didnt think that Valley was supposed to lose that one. Wow. Big upset.

8th grade Valley / Minford game was the biggest upset of the tournament. Metzler for Valley got into foul trouble early and Valley couldn’t get any rhythm going. Hats off to Minford they came to play

Monday
5:30pm 7th Minford vs Burg
7:00pm 8th Minford vs NW

Watched the tournament games today and Northwest looked very impressive and the Lintz kid was definitely the best player in the gym

48-23 Mohawks after 3
One missed dunk attempt
One missed granny foul shot

These kids could beat low level varsity teams

We though Shepard broke his wrist Saturday. He couldn't get the ball to the rim on foul shots so he worked on granny shots on Sunday.

I was extremely extremely impressed with NW top 5 on the floor tonight. Is Litz number one or number 12? Both players were OUTSTANDING like a scarecrow in a field. This group of 8th graders will CONTEND for the SOC2 crown in about 3 years as juniors. The defensive pressure and passing game was varsity level.
