Fairland over Clay on Saturday, 15-0.

Dayton pitches a 2-hitter with 8 strikeouts and most importantly, 0 walks.
Bias goes 3-3 at the plate and scores 3 runs.

Fairland in their 2 games has outscored their opponents 20-1 and Fairland pitching has only given up 4 hits.

Fairland takes on the 'Burg Monday at 5:30.

In other action (didn't note the scores), Coal Grove beat Ironton and Northwest beat West in elimination games.

Orange and blue are pretty colors. Better blue than black.

Chesapeake wins 11-1 over South Point in 4 innings. Panther bats have come alive the last couple of games. Arthur pitched a solid game and 1B Hutchison drove the ball hard 3 times.

Next up for Chesapeake is Portsmouth, Thursday, July 17, 8:00pm. Portsmouth beat us twice last year, our only losses, to knock us out. We would like to return the favor this year. After all, host teams are supposed to be gracious, right? Anyway, hope we can give them a run.

I missed the brackets tonight...who won the Green/South Webster game? Also, any other updates on Tuesdays games would be nice.
