This forum should be about the kids accomplishments, and not about one's vadetta against a team's coach. Keep the focus on the kids!!

Looks like only 6 teams left:
Wheelersburg (Winners Bracket)

All else have lost 1
Portsmouth
Chesapeake
Coal Grove
Fairland
Minford

Is this correct?

The 1st game starts at 5:30 an the 2nd game starts at 6:30.
I believe its Fairland vs Coal Grove @5:30 & Portsmouth vs Chesapeake @ 6:30.

Down to the final 4. Wheelersburg, Minford, Portsmoth, Coal Grove.

Where has this Coal Grove team come from? I don't ever remember them doing much in baseball down there. Has anyone seen them play? What do they have?

Fairland had them down 5-1 in the 5th and then their bats came alive. I believe a couple of walks and an error loaded the bases in the 5th and then a kid hit a ball to the fence to clear the bases and make it 5-4. Fairland scored a run in the top of the 6th to go up 6-4 and then in the bottom of the sixth, Coal Grove rattled off 4 hits to tie it 6-6 with 2 outs and runners on first and third. An error ended the game... such a sad way to go out for the Fairland kids, but yes, the Coal Grove kids really hit the ball late in the game.
