Sounds like the Burg vs Ironton scrimage was pretty evenly matched is this true?? I know last year all the talk was about how bad Ironton beat them in a scrimage at the beginning of the year..

The Burg 7th grade beat Ironton all four quarters...sometimes by greater than 10 points. The Burg 8th grade won the first quarter 9-7 and the second quarter 18-13. Ironton won the third quarter (can't remember the spread) and the fourth quarter by 8 points. I didn't add it all up but it was very close. Both teams were very evenly matched and played close the whole time....first string, second string, etc. It made me wonder if anyone on Ironton's regular schedule normally gives them a challenge because these were two very well played games. :)

Not sure what you're asking. The Burg 7th grade won all four quarters. The 8th grade teams were split.

The actual score to the Wheelersburg vs. Ironton 8th grade game was as follows:
1st quarter- Burg 7 Ironton 9 (it was reversed on the scoreboard and then immediately set back to 0 for the second quarter!)
2nd quarter- Burg 6 Ironton 8
3rd quarter-Burg 18 Ironton 15
4th quarter-Burg 7 Ironton 12
That adds up to Burg 38- Ironton 44 and honestly that will be the best team Ironton will get to play all season. Burg is a very talented team! Great scrimmage for both teams.

Shane Harper, Evan Morris, Laden Delawder, Jorden Brown, and Chris Stevens are all pretty good from Rock Hill.

Man that aint right people shouldent say that kind of stuff and if you play hard and listen to the coach that makes you a good player in my book.

I think we need to include some girls on here too.

The Peebles 7th grade girls has a couple of them that can hold their own.

I agree with you about the Peebles 7th grade girls. There are more than a couple who can hold their own and then you have Taylor Brown in the 8th grade. This group is going to be very good as they move up the ladder.
