SW 8th grade won and 7th lost. Don't know the exact scores, but I think 7th was 47-49, the webster boys I believe lead almost the whole game, then lost it right at the end, the Scott boy was up for 2 foul shots with seconds left on the clock, could've tied it up but didn't. Heard the 8th grade game was hands down webster, don't know for sure, but that's what I heard.

Very exciting 8th grade game west and waverly, west held on to win 32-31 after being up 19-9 at the half. Waverly sat a starter for the 1st. half and had a guard sit most of the 2nd quarter foul trouble, west hit a prayer 3 pointer at the buzzer of the 1st half. to give them a 10 point lead, 2nd half waverly fought back to take the lead and had a couple of chances to win but couldnt convert. good win for the siders and a tough loss for the tigers very hard fought game and could have went either way. Hitchens, Avery, Ferguson and White had strong 2nd halfs with good minutes from Dyke and Blevins coming off the bench. JUST BELIEVE in what the coaches are having u do and the w's will come.

The east, western game was a good game back and forth most of the time criger i beleave had 14 and another boy for east had13 but it was competitive westerns big three all in double figures lightle13,lambert12,may12, western just made some silly turnovers but credit east for forceing them to do so.

I give Waverly much credit they never let up. As for the game in a whole West played very sloppy and were minus a very good player for that game. The officiating was horrible, I understand that one could have been a rookie but it was very lopsided calling. Anyway I hope the boys can move on and play the way can, they very well could surprise alot of teams. The West 7th grade team had a good win and seem to be improving every game.
