If you were able to see a game actually being played between Minford and Valley. It was so dark at the end, I could not see the other side of the field.

The remaining 6:00 games really need to be moved to earlier times.

South Webster u15 tied Minford U15 (I think it was the A team). Rain started at halftime and was steady for the second half. Game tied by Minford with 20 seconds left in the 1st half on a nice corner kick. Minford scored 2 quick goals in the 2nd half on some bad defensive plays by Webster. Webster scored 2 to tie the game. The Gullet boy for Minford did an outstanding job. Not sure how many saves he had, but it was plentiful and with how wet the ball was I thought he did great. This game started at 5:30 and it was still getting pretty dark at 6:30, of course the clouds and rain didn't help.

Final 3-3

Wheelersburg U12 B and West postponed their game 10/2........makeup not set.

On Monday night, the Wheelersburg team went to Clay to play the game scheduled for this Saturday. The Panthers prevailed 6-1 in a nasty constant rain.

No matter what school you attend, you are allowed to register and play for any school in the county, but not on more than one. Some schools don't have soccer (like Green) and some kids live in a different district than where they attend school (open enrollment, live with grandparents, etc).

The Wheelersburg club team does have a couple kids from other schools because it is the only club team in the county and there are no other opportunities for kids to play other than the Saturday recreational league. The kids from other schools play for their respective home school's U15 team in the county league, but the club team is not part of the Scioto County League. Hopefully all schools in the county will eventually have school sponsored jr. high teams.
There is a community in the Scioto Youth League that had kids playing U12 and U15? Why wasn't something done about this situation?
