Hillsboro Hotshots is a new club in Hillsboro. We are going to try and have tryouts at the end of February at Hillsboro. We are working on the website now and hope to have it up soon with all kinds of information. We would really like to have two 8th grade teams. If we have enough 7th graders we will form a team, if not they will play up a grade. Our coaches consist of former men's college coaches, former women's college coach, former college women's players and former Jr High coaches. We are fortunate to have Hall of Fame coach John Hurley on the coaching staff. Among his many accomplishments he has accumulated 923 career wins.

Jr High AAU tryouts will be Saturday February 27th 12:30 - 3 at Hillsboro High School. All players need to be registered through AAU. We would like for you to get the AB (added benefit) so we can participate in non sanctioned events as well.

Need some more 8th grade girls. I'd like to have two teams. The more we have the better it will be. Work on fundamentals, ball handling, footwork, defense, and have fun. The main thing is, we want girls in the gym.
