The Ohio Athletic Committee is sponsoring the first annual Grade School Football State Championships of Ohio over Thanksgiving weekend at the Marion Coliseum in Marion, Ohio.
Nelsonville-York is hosting the division 3 regional youth football championships in October. Division 3 is comprised of all youth teams that feed into the southeast, east, and central district division 5 and 6 high schools as defined by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. All players on a team must be in the 4th, 5th or 6th grade; must be enrolled in an Ohio school; must not be older than 13 as of September 1; and must have had a physical.
