Go blue 54...
It means that you and the other coach are there just for your kids!
And could care less about the others and you think noone else sees it.
But we do, and it does a disservice to nw sports !
Is that clear enough for you

BTW- whats the go blue 54supposed to mean??

Are you guys really arguing over youth football? Don't you think that is the problem itself? The kids should be the focus and not the parents/ coaches.

Yes I do know what goblue54 stands for Coach. It stands for go my son and to heck with everyone else and you're a coach. Why couldnt it be just go blue??? I'll tell you why. You're consumed with your own kid as I said. Who are the captains on the football team??? Thats right its the coaches sons! Slew: you're right, the focus should be on all the kids and not just one or two. Someone has to stand up for all the kids cause the coaches sure wont. In fact they make sure no one gets the attention except their own, which is sad. You have kids on that team that every week does a really good job, yet you overlook them to point out how good yours played. It will come back to haunt you. We can talk face to face if you want cause I will tell ya the same thing.

It seems like a lot of youth coaches think that they are professionals because they are a 'coach'. It's easy to coach a kid that has talent, but it is a lot harder to coach ones who have less talent. Teach the fundamentals and let the kids have fun!! I've been around the Northwest youth practices and I am not sure how much coaching I am seeing. It starts at the top. The high school coaches/ players need to be involved in the youth programs. That's where it starts. Koolcoach - has the youth football board been approached about your concerns???

If you guys do meet, don't make A$$e$ out of yourselves in front of the kids. Take it somewhere else instead of the practice field or game! The kids don't need to see it or hear it, which is probably the biggest problem at Northwest!!!!!!
