Jackson threw a td pass with less than a minute to play in the game,

Pirates had a touchdown called back on a holding call in the last minute of the game. its a shame that the refs decide the outcome of a jr high game. You can call holding on every play in jr high. shame that it was called on the touchdown play that could have put the pirates in a position to tie the game.

I thought the 7th grade burg squad grew up a lot from last week. They looked a lot better and cut down on the turnovers. #25 is a force on both sides of the ball. Seeing Jackson for the first time they are a very big squad for that level. Burg went toe to toe with them.
I will say this they threw a touchdown pass with 3 seconds left to win. It was impressive to see a 7th grade team go no huddle from the gun with no timeouts and go 48 yds for a score. They had some nice kids also. #'' 7,23,85 made some nice plays. 7 was a workhorse.

It was a fun game to watch as both teams played very hard and very well. u got ur money's worth.

I thought both of the Jackson Burg games were well officiated. I believe in the 8th grade game Jackson also had a touchdown call back late in the 3rd quarter. So both sides had a touchdown called back because of a penalty.
