Re: Ever Seen So Much Rain?
I took a car-load of newspapers and cardboard down to Rumpke recycling yesterday and it stormed really hard on me in Scioto Co. - it was hardly sprinkling any when I loaded the car and left Ironton.
However, when I got back home, I found my power was out and it remained out for nearly another hour.
Both Cincinnati and Huntington weather say that was the last of that storm system and we're looking at clear, although a little on the cool side, weather for Gus Macker weekend here in Ironton - PERFECT!!

May was one of the wettest on record.... June is starting out the same...
We got a real soaking this morning.....Hard to find a day dry enough to cut the grass..

I can't get over how much rain has fallen in the last couple of hours here now! Notice the vegetation every where? Man, things are growing..like a tropical forest now.

Re: Ever Seen So Much Rain?
its doing it again.. yesterday between Lucasville and Jackson it flat out rained almost couldn't see to drive we got 2 days in this week.. wow we are rich..
Re: Ever Seen So Much Rain?
It has got to stop raining for at least 4 days in a row, so we can get our hay in. Some people have gotten it in around here, but we haven't. We also have to help my brother get his hay in too. So, if the Good Lord would just see fit to give us a few dry days, I would be THANKFUL!! LOL!!

Storming here again. I'm glad I don't have to mow grass the way it is growing.
