I know what you mean there. I agree they should get lost for a bit. I've been to one that they were on the other side of the cemetery. But I've seen worse then that going on in and around funerals. Some people that live close to them should just keep an eye out for funerals

Maybe they knew the person and are just showing their respect from a distance?

It happens quite often. I have even seen them come over to the tent and start removing the chairs and carpet before all of the people leave the graveside service. It is so very wrong for them to do any of this.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your father.

Maybe they knew him though.

Some folks are just inconsiderate. How hard would it be to find a place to hole up for a while.

Sometimes in life you just have to get muddy!! I'm not afraid of dirt!! I'm not always right but I'm dam sure passionate!! If I can smell their cigarette smoke, I'm a former smoker so I can smell a mile away, then they are too dam close...If I can smell the booze on their breath, they don't belong..........If I can see them, with freaking shovels in hand, I will run their sorry a$$ off!!! LEACHES!!!

THATS RIGHT!!!!!

In my family we dig our own...Problem solved!

I don't want to stranger digging my hole.....

It started out just like everyone else, Thats just how it was back in the old days, but it turned into a sign of respect and honor in my family. It's the last thing you can do for someone. I started when I was just a little runt....I can take anyone up to the Cemetary and show'em grave after grave that I've had my pick and shovel in. We will even dig for other family's who don't have a lot of money to try and help them out.....
