Finally, a thread I can relate to.........for weeks now everyone has had something to talk about except me, but I knew Fido would come thru and include me in the mix.......

China's Navy......

Israel and the Hamas........

Oil at 109 a barrell.......

Right to bear arms..........

IPADS for the little fellas in kindergarten.......

New oil supply in Utah.........

CIA and the waterboys.........

and finally my buddies in blue that will be using biofuel to fly them nasty jets over Libya.........

but I had faith that sooner or later the ol barley and hops subject would hit the board........I mean 30 bucks for a glass of beer is one of the best bargains I have run into lately......I will talk to the manager of the Fort and see if he can requisition a keg or two for the old timers to spend their hard earned retirement on.......

Thanks Fido

When I was young, I used to pull the little blue ribbon off the bottle and tape it to my shirt and pretend I won first prize. :122245

They only charge this price because people are stupid enough to pay it.

What's a case of beer go for these days? Maybe $15-16 bucks??? And that's for 24 beers.

And yet these idiots who go to football games would rather go to stadiums and pay $7-9 for ONE beer than buy a case on the way to the game and drink half of it in the parking lot BEFORE the game and the other half on the way home.

They cant sit still for 3 hours without a beer in their hands. And the funny thing is when last call comes at the end of the third quarter, they buy as many as they can hold and stash them under their seats like a hamster storing food. Kinda defeats the purpose of last call and giving the drunks (who have been drinking non stop all day) an hour to sober up before getting behind the wheel to drive home.

I can easily get PBR, FIdo, so whenever you want one, let me know.

I have an Iron City bouncing around in the fridge right now. Good stuff.

I don't know you, but I think it's the least I can do for a guy putting his ass on the line so I can . . . well, live my life in the comfort and safety of a small town
