Ety Pointe Centre Development in Lancaster

Post by NYBuckeye96 »

I was in Lancaster last night and drove by the Ete Pointe Centre Development........WOW!!!!! So many new businesses under construction!!!!! I did a quick search online and here is a list of businesses that are being built. A few of these are not under construction yet, but have been announced they will build:

Walmart Supercenter
Target Supercenter
Kohl’s Department Store
Menard’s Home Improvement
Sonic
Fat Cat Pizza
Huntington Bank
Max & Erma’s
Strip Mall – 15 tennants yet to be named
Panera Bread
Giant Eagle Grocery
Starbucks
Saturdays Hair Care
CiCi Pizza

In addition, the Taylor Cheverolet & Buckeye Honda expanded their lots at the corner of Ety Road and Memorial Drive.

Kohl's is already open. Walmart opens in March. Not sure when the construction for the Target Supercenter will begin.

There is 171 acres of land being developed here. Lancaster is going to have ALOT of new businesses in the next few years on this land! Great location too, just up the road from River Valley Mall, it looked to me like there was a connector road between River Valley and this development too.

wow didn't realize all those places were going to be there I was up there at dark and couldn't see things very well the Sonic up there is awesome looking!

so happy to see cici's my youngest loved them when they were in Athens!

And they were worried the by-pass was going to hurt business on that stretch of road!

Wal-mart paid 4.6 million for the land they are on

My son and I got pizza from Fat Cat's last week when we were in Lancaster.

HORRIBLE!!! We both ate one piece out of a medium pizza- and actually threw the rest in the trash. We both love pizza - but this was the worst.

I haven't been to the new Wal-mart yet, how is it different than any of the other thousands of cloned Wal-marts?

It was set up strange wider aisle's shorter ones than the ones around here.. didn't seem to have as much stuff not sure they had benches throughout the store which is good for the older people or me when I get tired of following the little darlings around  but other than that I just didn't care for it.. I know it sounds strange but I just didn't like it..

Isn't every new Wal-Mart supposed to be the biggest ever?

But yeah, Athens has a lot of those businesses...surprisingly.

Fat cats is a localy owned pizza joint, they now have 3 locations with the one by wal-mart being the only one you can actually sit down and eat at. I ate there once and can tell you the pizza tasted different than what I have had from the other two locations. not sure if it has something to do with having a brand new oven or what. but I didn't like it as well

Cristy's pizza, Is the second best pizza in Lancaster next to the Pink Cricket in my opinion. It is very good pizza though. Cristy's has several locations including Lancaster (2), Baltimore, Amanda, Logan, Chillicothe, Carroll, Buckeye Lake (papa boos), and Circleville. I eat Cristy's pizza about once a week since I live outside the city limits and they are one of the only pizza places that will deliver to my house.

Nelsonville used to have one until about 2 years ago. It's pretty good for a local pizza place. It's not as good as Avalanche in Athens though.
