Father convicted of microwaving 2-month-old girl
Joshua Mauldin, 20, was convicted today of burning his 2-month-old daughter in a microwave last year at a motel in Galveston, Texas.

"Mauldin told police he threw and hit the baby before putting her first into the room’s safe, then into the refrigerator and, finally, into the microwave oven," according to The Galveston County Daily News.

The little girl was badly burned and lost part of an ear.

The Houston Chronicle says her father, who had pleaded insanity, "remained expressionless as the verdict was read."

He faces up to life in prison.

The mother is just as crazy as the father....claims it was caused by the devil.

Poor girl is in pain and probably will be for the rest of her life...she may still be alive, but there's not much living she could do. He deserves more than life in prison. for sure.
