Great Vacation Rental Site

OK, a friend kept telling me that I should go to this site to book our vacation rental, telling me how much money I would save rather than go through a realty company like I usually do. Never did, stuck with the same company, three years she told me this. So, today I finally went to the site and found a place just two doors down from where we stayed last year at a savings of.....drum roll, please.....$720.00 less than we paid last year! The savings come from renting directly from the owners and you by-pass tons of fees. The site is Vacation Rentals By Owner or http://www.vrbo.com. They have rentals all over the United States, so happy vacations, folks!

Last year I used this sight to stay in a condo at the beach..Bluewater Resort...because we had stayed there 3 years before and knew we liked the place. Yes, we saved $600 on the week, but the front desk would not give us replacement keys (cards) when one stopped working OR any clean towels. They said since we rented directly from the owner, we weren't even in the system as being a guest. I'm not sure if this is the way it is everywhere, but be sure and check their rules. This may only be Bluewater Resort's policy, but to be sure, check before you go.

Hopefully keys won't be a problem, and our unit has a washer/dryer so the towels can be washed. I do our beach towels everyday anyway, there's only so much vacation a mom/mamaw can get.

thanks I will bookmark this we want to go to Florida around thanksgiving or christmas break I was cruising on line Monday and the cheapest I found with kitchens washers etc. and passes to the Disney places was like $5800.00 I cannot wait to cruise this new site! Thanks ballparent!

You can go to dme.com/san antonio for an outstanding deal. Fully furnished, warsher/dryer, kitchen with fully stocked fridge (booze only) and wet bar. Depending on the night of the week, you may even get a free tour guide. BBQ ribs and ribeye on weekends only, with you favorite bush beans and garlic toast. Fend for yourself during the week.

Well, that won't be the only hit list I've been on of late.
Hey, tell him everyone needs a vacation now and then and besides with the money you're saving by using this site you can actually be able to pay for the gas to get there. We saved enough that we can pay for our place, rent a van, and pay for the extra cost in gas and still get off cheaper than what we paid for just the room last year, so my hubby's happy. Other than the fact he says I should have listened to my friend a couple of years ago.
